If you are sick and tired of paying a ton of money for gas then a 50cc scooter is for you! Scooters come in all shapes and sizes and are amazing on gas mileage. You can go 120 miles per gallon on a 50cc scooter, 100 miles on a 150cc scooter, and 85 miles on a 250cc scooter!

Many people when looking for scooters have no idea what CC size of engine to get. If you are familiar with how motorcycles work and run, then you won’t have any questions, but for those of us who don’t understand motorcycles lets answer the questions. CC simply stands for cubic centimeters, or how much engine capacity there is. The bigger number of CC, the bigger and more powerful engine. In scooter world a 50cc scooter will go about 40 mph, 150cc will go about 55 mph, and a 250cc will go about 75 mph. This is very important to understand because most scooters do not go fast enough to go on the freeway or up hills smoothly. Make sure you are planning on using your scooter for main city roads and if you need to use the freeway, you need a motorcycle that is at least a 650cc.

Scooters appeal to people because they are automatic. This means you can just hop on and go where you want to without worrying about shifting gears or operating a clutch. Scooters also only hold about 1.5 gallons of gas so imagine how much you will save per month by buying a scooter today!

A 50cc is completely awesome for both newbies and experienced riders, who want a cheap and easily maintainable little ride. Definitely go for a 50cc.
