Hey guys … brand new here. I have a 2012 Piaggio Fly 150. I need to get an inspection sticker pretty soon and just found that the horn doesn’t work. I checked the fuses and they all look good. It only has about 575 miles on it. I am trying to skip the 50 mile trip to the dealer if I can. Any help will be appreciated.
I’ve never messed with a Fly, but since no one else is responding: next places to check would be the wire connections at the handlebar switch, and then at the horn. If everything looks good in those spots, I’d look inside the headset where it meets the steering column to see if the horn wire has maybe been rubbing on something and is shorting out.
No idea how accessible those areas are on a Fly, but that’s where I’d look for issues.
Decided to take it to the dealer. The horn was actually bad so they covered it under the warranty.
