I can’t wait to get my LML in April then getting it de-restricted to make it more capable. What is the best set up for carrying a pillion on a 125cc 2t? I would like to keep the scooter as a 125cc (So I can teach the kids when they’re ready) but fear the little LML will struggle with me at 14st and the wife at 9st? I know it won’t be fast, but I would like to be able to ride across town safely with a bag of shopping?
I once rode my 1980 Honda H100a 11hp (100cc 2t) with my wife as a pillion to Stonehenge and back on a boring Sunday (around 250miles). Couldn’t feel my arse for a month though, so it must be doable

I just want to know if full de-restriction would be enough?

Up it to a 150 5 port with a simonni exhaust. Mine goes like a P200. Cheers

Trouble is, I would like to teach my kids on it in a year or so, so I would rather keep it as a 125 albeit at strong as possible. Do the LML’s still have a crank issue when used with 150 cylinders or was that all rumour’s?

Never had any crank issues with an LML. I also read that some people did, but so far, never encountered any problems with 150 cylinder LMLs.
