What’s required to legally register my scooter as a 150cc or higher? I know a lot of people wouldn’t bother due to increased insurance and road tax (especially as the benefits are not that high) but what if I wanted to tow a trailer or drive on High speed roads in Europe that require a min of 150cc to do so?
You would require an engineers report from an MOT garage mechanic stating size etc. Mot certificate ( if old enough) and then send offvto VOSA
Yeah, you definitely need a checkout and report before registering. It is not a big hassle, though and is usually done pretty quickly.
